Rifle Shoot Rules

         

Shoot will take place after the regularly scheduled shooting at Approx. 10:30 AM.

The rules are simple:

               Any Rifle, any caliber (up to .50 Cal) firing Rimfire or Center Fire Cartridges.

               Any Sight Configuration ie; Red Dots, Scopes, open sights allowed.  NO Lasers

            No wrapped slings or handles allowed, both hands on weapon. No leaning on the bench

               Firing will be 10 rounds from the standing, unsupported position at the NRA B-2 target @ 50 ft. 

  High total Score after 10 Rounds fired wins.

                                                  Cost is $ 1.00 per person/Target               

New Payout schedule

            High Score =            75% of Pot     Based on # of shooters

            2nd Place =                15%  of Pot    Based on # of shooters

            3rd Place =                $ 1.00              Fixed award

Rifle Shooters will purchase and ID Targets

Range will go CLEAR  Shooters set up NRA B-2 Targets for the Rifle Shoot

When preparations are complete, Range will go HOT Shooters shoot 10 rounds at targets, freestanding, unsupported.

After firing is complete Range will be made SAFE and then Go CLEAR to retrieve targets and add up scores.  Rounds touching a line on the target are scored at the higher number.  Self score your Target making sure to write your Name, Score and Weapon Used and bring it to Mike McClintic and Judges for verification.   High total Verified scores win. Tied scores split winnings

RIFLE SHOOTER  TOP 3  SHOTS!

 Get their pictures taken with the winner plaque, Collect all the Money and Glory and Take their place on the Rifle Shooters Wall of Fame!

 All Gun Craft Safety rules and procedures will be followed at ALL Times.   You must be a Member of Gun Craft Range and KPSC to participate

 So get out those rifles, come out and practice and get on the Rifle Shoot Hall of Fame.
