Pontoon Boat Fishing Trips
Pontoon Boat Fishing Trips are a fun way to spend a day on the water, meet new people, and maybe catch some fish! We try to hold these events on the second Wednesday of each month from 8 am to 12 pm based on weather and availability. Sign-ups are on a first-come, first served basis through SignUpGenius, and trips fill up fast. A wait list is provided in case a full trip has cancelations.
Trips are run by club members with Freedom Boat Club memberships. A small fee is charged for participants that covers fuel, docking fees and dockhand gratuities.
Bring your own fishing gear and bait. Most use a light spinning rod and shrimp as bait. Since bait may not be sold at the marina, stop by bait shops on US-Hwy 41 in Ruskin beforehand.
