Meeting Minutes

Meetings are held in the Kings Point North Clubhouse ​in the Theater Located at 1900 Clubhouse Drive
on the third Wednesday of every month at 2:30p.m.

Meeting Minutes for April 15, 2026

The meeting was called to order at 2:30 PM at the Kings Point North Clubhouse Theater.

Marcia Coyle led the Pledge of Allegiance.

116 members were present at today's meeting. 

A special note of thanks goes to our Hospitality Committee Members for their help in making our meetings possible.

Draft minutes for last month's meeting were posted on the club website.  A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes as submitted.

Guest Speaker for today's meeting:

Chief of Surgery, South Shore Hospital

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, May 20 at 2:30 pm in the theater.                                                                                    

Treasurers Report:  John Vinas submits the report every month, the current total amount in the club checking account is $5,692.90.  

We have a “Free Table” at our meetings.  Feel free to bring any unwanted items to add, and be sure to check it out at each meeting for something you might find useful.

Monthly Photo Contest:    All photos submitted will be added to our “Monthly Photo Contest” web page.  Members navigate to the Club Hub page from the main website menu.  Photos are submitted using the form provided in the Monthly Photo Contest drop down on the Club Hub page.  Links are also provided in the weekly newsletter.  This is the preferred way to ensure photos are entered promptly during the window for acceptance into the monthly contest, however members can email information to mail@kingspointsportsmansclub.com.

The voting for the Photo Contest is done online enabling all members to vote for the winners.  A link is sent in the newsletter and via email.

Photos should be taken by or of members.  No photos taken from the internet will be accepted.

Mike McClintic has handicap targets on hand and members are encouraged to participate. If anyone needs the targets contact Mike at:  racermikey@hotmail.com, they also have them at Gun Craft Range.

The "Marketplace" page on our website is free for Club members to advertise anything that they want to sell.   Members navigate to the Club Hub page from the main website menu.  Ads are submitted using the form provided in the Club Marketplace drop down.  Links to the Marketplace are also provided in the weekly newsletter.  This is the preferred way to ensure ads are posted promptly, however members can email information to mail@kingspointsportsmansclub.com.
