Every month, three of our most experienced and knowledgeable freshwater anglers invite club members of all skill levels—ranging from complete rookies to seasoned regulars—to join them for a relaxed and informative afternoon of pond fishing. This is truly hands-on learning at its best, offering a great opportunity to pick up valuable tips and techniques in a friendly setting. So, grab your lightweight rod and reel, bring along some soft plastic lures, and come join the fun! Not entirely sure what tackle you need to bring? No worries at all! Come as you are, and don’t hesitate to ask for some helpful advice and guidance. Here’s a pro tip from Stan: don’t leave too early! Quite often, beginners tend to pack up just before the bite really starts to happen. The best advice? Follow the leaders! Stay until they call it a day—you’ll be glad you did!
